WHERE-TO Experimental Publishing

ABOUT

WHERE-TO is an experimental publishing platform developed within the seminar EXHIBIT, part of the professionalization curriculum. It functions as a space for exploration, where participants engage with publishing as both a technical tool and a critical practice.

It is part of an experimental framework aimed at supporting the students’ development of individual strategies for positioning within professional contexts of choice. By combining experimentation with strategic thinking, the WHERE-TO site serves as a platform for testing and refining artistic, curatorial, and conceptual approaches to publishing. It foregrounds process over outcome, fostering an open-ended approach to defining one’s place and voice within contemporary cultural fields.

It is dedicated to supporting students in developing their profiles while strengthening their writing, presentation, communication, and art mediation skills within the contexts of art, design, and media. These processes take place through collective forms of work that emphasize collaboration, exchange, and shared learning. It encourages participants to reflect on how their work circulates, how it is framed, and how it can be articulated in relation to specific environments, audiences, and discourses.
